Hi,

We have booked our summer holiday to France for 2 weeks BigGrin we have a touring caravan and normally just stay holidaying in the UK. We are going over first to the Loire Valley then to Vandee and then 2 nights in Normandy. This will be the first time our 2 children have been abroad. I'm not sure who is more excited, me or our children ThumpUp

Hexham - Northumberland - Loads of spectacular walks - all I need now are the joints to go with them! :)

Thanks. We have 2 more holidays before this, New Forest and Wales BigGrin We love our caravan, it's the cheapest way to get a family holiday as holiday companies takes the biscuit with prices on half-terms!

Hi Louise,

I think caravan holidays must be great. As you say they are cheap and if you get to a place you
don't like - you can move - what bliss!!

Have a wonderful time in your new venture to France, but before that I hope you enjoy your two holidays
in this country.

Thanks Gogs. Last year was our first year with the caravan and we all had such fun. Our 2 children make such nice friends and it's such a health lifestyle. Last year I was still in quite a bit if pain but not so much this year so, onwards and upwards BigGrin

Hi Louise

Sounds like great fun and you have the freedom to explore where you want and it will be such as adventure for your children.

We too are venturing abroad for our hols this year - Majorca in October. It's the first time my 2 boys have been on a plane (although I am very apprehensive) but will try to hide this.

Enjoy your pre-hols too, I would love a caravan but my husband isn't keen.

Only 4 weeks until we get the school Easter hols and I am praying for sun.

Hi Lisa,

I'm sure you have so much fun in October. I was only saying to my hubby today it would be lovely if the weather at Easter was as it has been this weekend. We live down South & it's been wall to wall sunshine BigGrin

Hi Louise,

I`m sure you and the family will have a great time in your caravan in France - my younger son takes the family to the Vendee every summer, and the two boys, aged 9 and 7 absolutely love it. I always take a letter with me to France from my rheumy, and she always says never worry if I need treatment while we`re there, as it will be first class, and they know all about RA.

Happy holidays,

Kathleen x
